Services

It is not unheard of that the condition on the outside looks fine or even great, but once disassembly or installation starts we find something that requires additional work not typically seen for the particular service. A good example is tearing down a set of heads for cleaning and upgrading for a new cam shaft and finding valve guides and seals that are outside of tolerance or not capable of supporting the planned performance upgrade. When we find these surprises, we will contact you before proceeding further.

Many aftermarket parts are marketed as “bolt-on,” but installation may still require modification. Fitment can vary due to vehicle condition, factory changes, and differences between the design vehicle and your own. It is also important to confirm that parts from different manufacturers work together safely and effectively, especially on older builds as aftermarket products continue to evolve. To ensure a safe and quality product Street-wize may have to spend significant time with the manufacturer to ensure compatibility.
